Creaking Drivers Door

Over the last few weeks, the drivers door has been creaking ever louder when you open it - imagine Lurch opening the Adam's family front door! - and last week it started creaking when driving as well - but only when its dry.

So its at Spur in Wimbledon today hopefully getting sorted - of course it was raining this morning so all was silent when I got to the garage

I'll let you know what they do.

What happened in the end? Mine has started doing this as well!

Nothing yet, it was raining on the day it went in and it doesn't creak in the wet. They said they sprayed a bit of WD40 around and tightened a few nuts, but it hasn't stopped it. I'm waiting for a dry day that I can go down to the dealer so they can hear it themselves.

Mine is doing it in the cold. I only noticed it on Tuesday night. It's going in next week, so if i get anything off them, i'll let you know.

Mine Too! Both front doors groaning, creaking, particularly at low speed on uneven road. Disappears if you open window slightly. Took it to dealers, they had it for about half an hour and came back having "adjusted the seals", looked like vaseline around the flock part of the door rubbers. Creak still gone after two weeks, fingers crossed.

Rattle now developed from centre of dash/windscreen area (possibly light above rear-view mirror).

Body kit cost £2,281, fully fitted. I was quoted £3k at another dealership.

So did anyone actually come up with a way of fixing this yourself cos mine have started doing it now? Plus the left moves faster than the right!
