CR Turbos anybody used them?

I've just ordered a hybrid PD150 from them, I'm sure the guys and Unit18 wont be shy about expressing their opinion when they see/fit it
not perfect however.
is anyone? is there a tuning company out there that someone doesn't have a horror story about?

I also know of serious and potentially serious ****-ups by other well known/respected tuners who other people have nothing but praise for. it's all about being mindful of the fact that nobody is perfect

They have a very good reputation, especially amongst the Ford guys, they build turbos for the likes of Harvey Gibbs and Andrew Gallacher. Anyone is capable of mistakes, it's how they deal with them that matters and CR Turbos are second to none. My turbo has been awesome since they rebuilt it, hasn't missed a beat!
nothing and no one is perfect no.
I had an issue on a built turbo, cost me a shed load of time and inconvenience to fit/remove/fit/remove/fit.... all at my cost & inconvenience to customer. the turbo leaked oil externaly from new. build problem 100% imho
it was sent back to CR, they were accomodating, rebuilt it, and on final fitment it was ok leak wise. I was out of pocket for time/oil/water considerably which I did not appreciate.
the turn round was good, and they did'nt quibble.
Mark is a nice guy to talk to there. you dont feel you will be stuffed with some BS like its fitment error or such, like a lot of other remanufacturers will tell you.
