1) I want to replace the front speakers as ive got an amp and the high notes on these go straight through me. My doors do shake so i want to add a small amount of dynamat. How do i go about taking the panels of. Also what size speakers do i need and will the holes on them for screws match up with the screw holes in the car?

2) Ive got some speakers in the parcel shelf which ive unplugged as when they and the sub are on the parcel shelf vibrates. Im not sure if its the parcel shelf making the noise, i think its it vibrating against the side of the car. What do you suggest i do. Also id like to replace those speakers as they are green and my cars red. What size should i have or should i replace the standard ones?

3) Where does the tube for the rear window spray go because when i pull the leaver i can hear the motor go but no water comes out but it does from the front.

4) what is the standard wheel size, 14?

Hey,

1. I replaced mine and i think they were 16.5cm speakers that fitted in the existing holes. To take the door card off, there is a screw on the bottom of the speaker cover, unscrew that, then take the speaker out. There should be 2 screws behind the speaker you need to undo too. Remove the trim around the door handle and there are also 2 more screws there and from what i can remember 1 black screw holding the handle to the door card . Unscrew the door pin then the panel should pull off.

2. No idea, but if there are speakers in the shelf then they are not factory fitted, you will have to measure them up but i'm not sure on the vibration thing.

3. The rear washer is a common fault. Make sure the water isn't going into the boot floor. Sometimes the pipes split or come disconnected. I think it runs down the o/s of the car.

4. I think the 1.4 came with 14's but i'm not sure, should say on the side of the tyre.

Hope this helps!

1. Cant help with this 1 mate as i've left mine as standard.
2. I can only recommend turning the bas down thru the parcelself speakers.
3. The rear washer pipe "normally" comes undone in the engine bay, right next to the screenwash bottle or open your boot and look at the back passenger light, you should see a rubber "L" shape, thats the hose, it sumtimes goes here as well. Or finnally on the under side of the tail gate pull of the black lining, the hose sumtimes dissconnects from the rear washer motor in here! Hope this helps!
4. "Normal" ibiza wheels where 13", but some models did varie!

the tyres will have the size stated!

Somewhere you should find xxx/xx/Rxx - mine reads 185/55/R15.

185 stands for 185mm wide
55 is the profile (height) of the tyre in relation to the width, so 55% of 185mm
R stands for radial construction

and the all important bit:

15 stands for 15 inches diameter.
