Changed mine last weekend, ended up phoning around to find out about what options there where for uprated pads. (Really didn't feel like paying £'s). I ended up phoning AP to find out a little more info on these calipers. I ended up going throught 5 websites and catalogs to find that no aftermarket product was the same as the original ones.
I know that CP 6600 D55 is actually the wrong caliper number, the seat sport ones are based on this design but are really D59. - (no such caliper number)
Because Seat sport
help develop them, they are 59mm deep instead of a 55mm like the feroddo ones, and they have a unique shape. In the end the guy said "It's only 4mm difference but it's part of the braking system so just go and buy the correct part from the dealer".
But then my dealer tried selling me the brembo pads. Doh, "they wont fit" I said then said MK4 cupra not Mk3. Then the best quote yet..... "You've got one?" Anyway.......
£80 in the end, then fitted them myself.
Got Tarox Sport Japs on the front drilled and grooved.
