If I get another customer booking in their car because 'for some reason one of my front foglights seems to come on' i'm going to scream!

Had about four this week now its got dark, all of them look at you like you've gone out when you explain it...lol

Some one stopped me on a supermarket car park and and was telling me that my frogs kepk coming on when I was driving round looking for a parking space, I said? I know that what they do, and one day all cars will do this, it very clear in the manaul, this is how I found out dont think people seem to check with the manaul first before complaining.

Hehe. Whilst I was waiting for my car I researched it. I knew the fogs came on when cornering... Some old guy at work told me I had an electrical fault. Took me half hour to explain to his single brain cell what it was.

I've found this function great as I have bombed through welsh roads at night and it has helped me see road markings better and judge the roads easier in the dark.

Are they as bright as normal fog laps? If they are the same as normal lights I can't see the problem. I personally dont think it looks very good but safety first and all that jazz.

i tend to explain it as, "like the new mercedes-benz and other high end cars, one of the fog lights comes on when turning a corner."

i leave it at that.

I got told off by a policeman when pulling into a car park, at which point i said, do you not know anything about cars? a few of the modern ones have adaptive fog lights which turn on at low speeds to aid the driver in seeing.
he then shut up and apologised!!!

i don't like it to be honest, until it becomes more common its going to be like when auto lights came out, remember people swearing at me as they though i ws flashing them in the 206 as it had really sensitive snesors and would come on and off as you went under brisdges on the motorway.

My mates insignia also has this and also has auto full beam. Still amazes us but as soon as no other cars around the lights go on to full beam, but occasionally they get caught out

I rather like it, I have to park on the street and in these darker nights it does make it that little bit easier to manouvere. Had my first "one of your lights are out" today, form my housemates gf. luickily she's quite bright and got th concept straightaway, i couldn't be doing with explaining it over and over this morning!

Having both come on when you select reverse so that you have 200W plus of light pointing the opposite direction your going, and a pathetic 10w barely glowing at the back does tend to irritate me a tad !

Yep - more so when parked in front of two very white garage doors - is there a limit on the 10W or can I upgrade it :(
