Dealers stipulate a 6K4837401P / 6K4837402P for left and right doors with 2 pin connection. However, I seem to getting some replies from breakers saying that they have 6K4837401H / 6K4837402H regulators from older Cordobas i.e '97, '98. Have spoken to dealer part shops but they seem quite confused as to what the difference is. Need both for my Vario as they have gone tits and the windows are stuck up.
so these are the front electrics?
might be quicker for me to pull the (loose) door card off & look at mine.

very very easy!
but only if you can wind the window down....
basically remove door card - and use a 10mm socket to undo the glass crimps
then lift out glass, and undo all the 10mm nuts holding it on - you don't need to remove them totally, just loosen them
then remove it from the door.
the awkward bit is going to be getting the glass down to unbolt the crimps since it needs to drop ~ 2"
10 mins/side tops if all goes well though.

Getting them down won't be too much of a prob. They do 'push' down with a bit of effort. ( Guess the cables have snapped !!! ). Still wonder about these part numbers, lol. Prices seem to vary too. Have been quoted £48 ( new ) up to £94+vat ( new ), £65+vat ( 2nd Hand ), it's a nightmare !!!

There's no F in Quality..
are the 'H' variant for the 4-door and the 'P' variant for the 2-dr coupe ?!? or vice-versa..... ?!?

God only knows ! Dealer quoted 'P' but have got an opportunity on spares from a 4 door Cordy but they say 'H' on them. Wondered if it may have had something to do with the clips. Heard they went from plastic to metal. Of course I could be wrong.

All cleared by IMG. Apparently the 'H' types are superceeded by the 'P' types. Cheers for your replies.
