Still new to all this as not had my Ibiza cupra long, prob about a month and had to take it for its annual service yesterday (nail biter lol)
MK Seat were quite reasonable actually, from £226 they did it for £186 which was great, but they came back with a fault on the cooling fan thats gonna cost £332 (inc labour) to get replaced as it was making an overexaggerated noise when the engine got switched off or ac was turned off.
Anyone encountered this or know somewhere near milton keynes that i could get one and have it installed cheaper, used to live in stroud so near there is fine too, only got 7000 miles til cam belt service and im yearning to spend money on stage 1 and decent ice!
plus i just thought i would mention (havent checked the forum so apologies if im repeating) but they replaced a vacuum pipe free of charge due to it being recalled as they said theyre quite easily cracked so i didnt pay a bean for that bit.

Welcome mate, nice car!

The brake servo pipe splits, so they would have replaced that mate!

Dont know about the cooling fan, but that alot of money, to replace a ooling fan! Is it for the engine cooling, or part of the cars heating?

I'm sure someone will post soon and help you further

That was probably your brake servo hose, they left the factory faulty so are being replaced free of charge :)

Yeah its mike, not getting an engine management light on no, it just makes a really loud whirring noise if you switch the ac on and off, and sometimes after medium length journeys, i kind of knew that it wasnt right but it didnt happen on the test drive. Its previously had a boost fitted (thanks for spotting olly20vt) but been checked over by seat and evrything has been taken back to standard and is fine. Mk seat are being really good actually and trying to get prices down for me, the cooling fan was £360 and they want £332 inc labour, plus theyve knocked money off the cam belt to £360 when i get that done, brakes £98 and wipers £32. Cheaper than they originally quoted coz they want my custom but I dont want to be paying half that if i can help it lol
Also when i rag it from first to second gear if the wheels slightly spin the tcs kicks it and it stutters a bit, is this normal?
cheers guys

Any ideas near Milton Keynes or Stroud/Glos would be great
