Coolant Sensor

Been experiencing an intermittent fault with the coolant temp sensor on a 2005 FR, would like to just change the part but cant find where it's located. Could somebody help? Photos, Description would be helpful... thanks

Thanks for the comprehensive and prompt response. Exactly what I'm looking to do but unfortunately I don't have the 20vt. The photos and instructions are spot on though....cheers...and will be very helpful when I find the Bu**er...

If anybody has the location for the FR diesel It would be greatly appreciated.
