Coolant Bottle Sensor

Guys,

Just looked under the bonnet at the coolant bottle and theres the usual probes in to the coolant bottle, but my 04 plate FR tdi doesn't have any electrical plug going to the sensor! Is this right???
On my LCR and my old Ibiza Cupra there was a plug going to the sensor in the bottle!

anyone confirm?

mine doesnt have a connection on my coolant bottle its a blanc mate some vags have a connector some vags cut back

how does it measure the coolant level and temp then on mine?

it dont no low coolant sensor iirc! keep an eye on it evry time you wash it

the 3rd sunviser is not missed boot light and glove box light is annoying but i wont loose any sleepover it

Yep on my 20k service the Technician put an advisory for missing sensor on coolant bottle on my sheet, then scrubbed it out! Fabia doesn't have one either

how weird is that....just find that really odd...suppose theres no light on the temp display on the clocks either....

how shiteeee surely if the bottle has it, wiring it in wouldn't have been that difficult really for vag to do!!!
