Convienence module

Hi,

i am very new to the forum site, we are experiencing endless problems with the central locking/alarm/windows and interior lights. I have had it scanned by a local vw/seat specialist and the tell me the convenience module is at fault. I have been told that the item is a plug and play item providing the correct one is installed ( been told 28 versions available) please could someone tell me where this is on my seat leon cupra mk1 2001, as they quoted £175 + vat for installing it, so can anyone help on the location of this item so i can remove it and get the correct part no. if its the same as the rest of the range its behind the centre console. get down in the footwell and you should be able to see it
