Just wondering if anyone has converted their non folding mirrors to folding ones and what parts do I need?

I've got a 2004 cupra (teardrop mirrors) but they're not folding - an oversight on my part when I bought it second hand, as I thought folding mirrors were standard :(

Do I just need the motors from a folding one or the whole mirror assembly? If it's just the motors then can the ones from the earlier square mirrors be used?

Also I will obviously need the door mounted control thingy but do I need any extra wiring loom stuff as well?

Thanks!

Do a search! get more info, as i know off! you need to change the door switch and motors! you may need a loom as well but you have to double check that!

I'm really suprised by that, they were standard on my SE so I always assumed they must be standard on the higher specs?

EDIT: In fact, I've just checked my 2004 brochure and it says they were standard on the SE, Cupra and Cupra R, so are you sure yours haven't just stopped working?
