Connecting a CD Changer

I just went and bought a cd changer of a fella, its out of a 1.4 2000 Ibiza and i'm wanting to put it in my 02 Cupra

I thought they'd be the same but the cd changer has a connection like this

and the lead in the boot is a connection like this

Would the likes of Halfords definately have something to join these (If not were) and when they're connected would it definately be compatable with the standard unit in the Cupra

thats strange....I'd pull that wire out a bit further in the boot and see if it connects to another

Seems to be the only wire going to the unit

Can anyone else with an 02 Cupra confirm that the have a scart connected changer?

The standard lead in the back of the cupra looks like....

The one you have isnt the standard one so I'd follow the cable and see where it goes...someone may of connect the standard one to that one with a connects2 box or something similar like I have

That looks like a kenwood plug to me, so follow it until you reach the standard cable

Turns out its an Alpine lead I think, connected to this box

So I need to order a new cable from Seat

Where is that box plugged in? The cable that goes from the HU to that box should still work.

Cable going from Hu to that box does not connect to changer directly

the cable from the HU will connect to that box...so disconnect the box and connect your new cd changer

That's why I asked where the box is, because it might be that the standard cable was unplugged to plug that one in
