Computer problem

Hi,
For some reason when i turn off my ignition the car forgets my average mpg and the distance I have travveled since the last reset etc. It used to remember it all. Any ideas?

is that under 1 or 2?? mine only remembers 1 for a few hours then it reverts back to 0 but i can press it onto 2 and it shows up fine!!

Yeah, I reset no. 2 when I bought my car, and it came back from the garage yesterday and they must have dis-connected the battery for a while, as it was reset completely

I think its something to do with the diagnostics they run to check that the engine's running ok.
