Component Speaker Fitting Help

Ok so basically...i've bought some Front component speakers, and am having a problem with the fitting. Do the wires which connect to the speaker from the crossover unit need to soldered on??

And also..has anyone used this adaptor before:

Are you using after market wiring or the standard wiring mate?

Standard wiring..but theres wiring along with the speakers which im assuming is for the crossovers..i just dont know hows it meant to all connect. Would be easier if the speakers provided any form of instructions. lol.

What components did you get?

You should have the standard wiring from the headunit, that wires into the 'in' terminals, the you wire the 'WF' to the big speaker and the 'TW' to the tweeter, you can use the wiring thats already in the car or use newer better wire, its up to you. So long as the wires go straight from the crossover to the new speakers

Ahh..thats made more sense of it. But what do you mean when you say 'TW' 'WF'. im a complete novice as you can probably tell..lol.
