it controls all the basic fancy electric functions

i werent 100% tbh, any old relay and switch could make electric windows work but its the fancy bits like programming 'one touch' window etc

can i ask what your contemplating? judging by your other posts i would guess your trying to install fully auto closure.

nope unfortuantly guys its not for that..

ive got this weird electrical problem....and it would appear the comfort module is getting water in it causing the car to do very odd things :(

Is it DEFINETLY behind the clocks????

Any ekta pics anyone?

On my old mk4 golf I'm pretty sure that the comfort module was at the bottom of the steering wheel in the section in front of the drivers knees. If you take those panels off you will see a module with two connectors coming out of it that looks very much like that. Not sure if it is the same on the Ibiza but as it takes 5 mins to get those panels off its def worth a like

that part number above from memory is for the central locking control unit

it's deffo behind the clocks as that's where i've removed them from on the last two MK3 cupra's i've stripped

ETOS points to that being behind the instrument panel somewhere.

The is the central locking control unit which appears to be causing these weird and wonderful things with my central locking...

vag.com doesn't show any problems with that module but not sure u can actually log in to it......
