hi guys, i bought some coilovers a while ago, adjustable on the front and a lowered spring and damper on the rear. put the rears on a piece of p**s. it was dark when i started to get ready for the fronts and i found a problem when coming to put them on anyway ( the droplink was seizied solid, but ill be able to sort that out). my main question is, with an lcr splitter on, how low do i want to drop it without being to low, were i carnt go over bumps ( i live out in the sticks lol), hopefully without taking it off, and for it to sit low and mean, and looking even with the rear? p.s i think the rear springs are 60mm cheers guys

I haven't got an LCR splitter on my car, but my coilies are wound down pretty far on the front. I get rubbing over most bigger bumps, but the bumper is still miles off the ground compared to mk2 and mk3 ibizas. I wouldnt have thought you'd have any trouble with a splitter tbh. And if you do, its not hugely expensive for a new one.

Just depends on how well you've secured the LCR splitter - if you've done too good a job, you risk damaging the bumper itself.

I've not gone down too far, but I have noticed on some large speed humps or bumps on the road that I get a bit of rubbing - so it's low enough for me. I think I'm down about 30mm from std Cupra ride height.

i had been thinking of going down about 20-30mm on the front, i think that is going to be the safest option. i dont want to take the splitter off, im hoping it shouldnt catch
