Im another with a set of the Ta Technix coilovers (the hottuning ones on ebay) on my mk2 and they are awesome for the money. 200 quid and do the job of lowering the car.
Handling is improved aswell. They are alittle stiff but not as stiff as my lowered suspension kit (shocks and springs) were.
cool will keep an eye out, so how low can you go without changing the drop links? asked this in the other thread too so sorry if i get a double response!
hi mate. got mine lowered 120 mil at the back on 17's and gone for a tame 70 mil on the front. thats with the raceland coilies, supplied by hottuning. i paid 145 for mine and would recommend them to anyone.
I'd go for Weitec GTN's Adjustable platform on the rear and full coilover on the front... Have used these and ta Technix and the ride is much comfier but still sporty
