I'd hand over your car details to a Seat dealer and he will tell you and sell you a genuine latest standard coil pack, are you getting engine faults being logged?

If you are with the AA and break down, they will charge you £50 approx for a replacement but they also fit it for you. I managed to pick some spares up for £32 each (at the time i desperatly needed them) havent found them cheaper, but i havent been to SEAT yet so i dont know what they charge.

That is a good point, my mate with SAABs gets the AA to sort his cars as you get the parts at trade price - and free fitting. That is okay for the odd breakdown, but would increase your membership eventually.

Looking ahead, if you are happy to replace them yourself, and feel that another will be needed before too long, then maybe do as I did and keep an eye on ebay for suitable NOS ones (read the numbers off your current ones so that you can identify them).
