Hi all,

I've seen posted on this forum previously that you can code in the 30 colour ambient lighting using the Car Scanner Pro app - I've got it and it gives you a couple of options to do so but I can't quite get it working properly.

Has anyone had any success with this and can share how they did it?

Thanks!

I've never tried this one, but before when I've made changes to the MIB2 via Carista/OBDeleven you need to do a hard power off/on. Just press the power button, and keep it pressed whilst it shuts down and reboots, then let it go.

I added two extra colors with car scanner. I don't remember restarting the unit but it worked fine. Just choose the colors you want to add.

Thanks both - managed to get it working.

Just made sure both the door ambient lighting and the MMI/Dashboard lighting were set to the alternative 30 colour setting and gave the MIB2 unit a restart like @SteveGSXR600K1 said.
