Hi Forum

Thanks for taking the time to read my posting.

I have a 2009 mk5 Ibiza 1.4 ectomotive, which has done 106,000 miles and have owned the Ibiza from 2013 when it had done 96000 miles.

Currently I get the code P0243 when l look it up is "Turbo/Sup Wastegate Solenoid A Malfunction". On clearing the P0243 code it immediately reappears.

I have not really noticed any difference in the driving experience of the Ibiza and still get a good millage to the gallon.

Prior to this I had been getting the code P0299 Turbo/Super charger underboost, say every two months for about 9 months, but I could clear this code and it would stay "away for a while". I noticed a small oil leak to a large diameter rubber hose entering the turbo and replaced the o-ring as it was damaged.

I believe the Turbo/Sup Wastegate Solenoid A is also called a Turbo actuator?
And may go by the name N75?

Any helpful input appreciated, e.g. due you think the turbo actuator is likely to be faulty, where do I find it and is it easy to repair fit a new one.

Thanks DEANO

Taken from the website I was advised to check out by DEANO

Causes
Possible causes of OBD code P0243
- VPWR circuit open to SCB solenoid. - SCB solenoid circuit shorted to PWR GND or CHASSIS GND. - Damaged SCB solenoid. - SCB solenoid circuit open. - SCB solenoid circuit shorted to VPWR. - Damaged

SCB = Supercharger (Boost) Bypass solenoid circuit
VPWR = Vehicle PoWeR Supply Voltage

So I now need to find the Turbo Bypass solenoid and circuit?
I will try and get a workshop manual off the web
