P1539 - 35-00 - -

engine light came on last night for first time ever
we're pretty sure due to the cat problem after having a race cat on, ive researched this so know how to sort it.

but when we ran codes the clutch one was a new one thats appeared since last vag-com run about 2 weeks ago.......

Ive read up about the pedal box and their being a white clip that joins the rod that snaps, but ive been under the pedals with a torch and all seems in place.

can any VAG-COM wizard help me with this?
apprehensive to drive it incase it does break and the clutch sits on the floor
or could it just be a one off blip if i knocked the pedal say sideways with my foot?

As you know my current sito with my pedal snapping. There a small little box that pops out,
Try disconnecting the pug and reconnecting it. or just pull out the whole switch, by twisting it 90 degress and pulling it out. just keep the button pressed and check it on vag at the same time.
