Does it happen when you fully depress the clutch pedal?

I have this problem and it was caused when i had a new clutch put in. When pedal is fully depressed you hear a grinding noise. I was told it's the clutch and flywheel not mating correctly.

I either have to buy a flywheel to match the clutch i have or reduce the length of the throw of the clutch pedal by making some sort of stop

well its usually about half way in but i sprayed some wd40 up into where the pedal and the hydrolic pin links together in the foot well and it goes away for a few days then comes back
