clutch pedal play side to side

hi everybody im new on here so please be gentle.
picked up my first ibiza the other day and found out the clutch was really heavy and the pedal box was broken so ive managed to fix that, the only problem ive come across afterwards is that theres alot of play from side to side on the clutch pedal when you press it. ive also managed to put the dredded clutch spring back in place, there is a nylon round spacer or whatever it is that looks like it should click into something left over, but it also doesnt have a part number so i cant check were it comes from? does anybody have any ideas where it would come from or what it is? cheers..

Put a picture of that part up, chances are one of us can tell you what it is and where it should go.

managed to sort the problem out in the end, the part was off the end of the shaft by the clutch pedal so all is good, cheers anyway no doubt there will be some more questions to come.

Yup not a propper MK2 owner until you've had that b4astard fail

I've had 2 go so far, this time I did it right and replaced the clutch and cable and also the welded the box.
