Clutch lifespan

Can anyone tell me how long a 1.8t clutch should last before it needs changing? The car is actually an audi a6 1.8t 150 bhp. But I like it here and much of the gear is the same as the seats. It is due a remap but it has started smelling a bit and slipped on a steep hill and after getting some aggressive beans.

Always depends on how they're driven. I've heard of 1.8T clutches lasting up to 120k!

95k on the original. lots of motorway miles but its still had to work hard.

my LC is on 82k and I believe it to be the original clutch. bites 2/3 the way up the pedal

Cheers for the replies and sorry for the long time to acknowledge. Mines at 92k and seems to have settled. I think it was just me getting used to it after driving a diesel. Once I get my eml sorted and get her remapped to the hilt then we shall see what's what.
