far too many clutch questions but..............

Just had my pd150 clutch replaced for the all-to-common slippage problem. HOWEVER although its all done now, I am very concerned about the new clutches biting point.

Clutch now starts to bite less than 1" from fully depressed (ie almost as soon as pedal lifted from floor), and is fully disengaged (off) by the time the pedal is lifted up halfway. The movement feels smoother, but its horrible biting this low and makes quick changes very difficult.
When lifting pedal it also doesnt feel quite right - as if it wants to stick half way up (not a carpet problem).

I'm sure this isnt right, but your thoughts please before I go a moaning back to dealer.

Update on clutch :

Took car in this morning for a 30 minute bleed

They found clutch/brake fluid on lower engine panel - caused by clutch fluid leaking from the union that feeds the slave cylinder. They replaced the union and seals but still cannot get it leak-tight. Its on the side on the union that the pipe conects to (not the gearbox side), so they now have to order a new pipe assy and fit on Tuesday.
So I leave the garage with yet another little ol' Ibiza 1.4 Sport (with 121 miles on the clock).

Hopefully will be sorted too. Good job it went i when it did, as yesterday had gear selection difficulties things were getting that bad. And a feckin stall in traffic !!!!
