Clutch and Gearbox

the gearbox on my 2003 90bhp seat leon smashed yesterday.. was advised to change the clutch also. anyone have a source for these parts and what prices? my local garage has told me to expect a gearbox for £350, clutch for £100 - £150 and then labour. expecting upto £600 costs. just wondered if there was anywhere cheaper

£600 is cheap any way, unless you can find something on ebay.

lol yeah im surprised. i didnt get a reply so i rang around myself. i THINK i got a good deal.

i got a reconditioned gearbox, new clutch, flywheel, timing belt kit, driveshaft, passenger front mount and labour for £760. but now if i take it past 3k revs it sounds like a airleak somewhere. going to take it back this weekend to sort out but im so glad to have my car back!
