i doubt admin have as they would usually say why.
i think the thread starter can lock his own thread though.

Sorry folks, it was an accidental closure. Didn't even realise i'd done it until reading this :D

Its the old age.

Apparently on the new post list an admin can close a thread just by clicking the icon. And i did it inadvertantly while scrolling down the page.
