Hi , I have a clunk from N/S front wheel when going over potholes , But not speed humps , It sounds like a cracking noise ?
I have changed both drop links, Checked coil spring , Wishbone , Anti roll Bar , I have also changed front discs / Pads
Car has done 34K . I don't get noise from drivers side, Steering is ok drives in straight line. Tyre pressures are 30PSI all round
Car drives ok , its only when driving over some pot holes , deep manhole covers, I have done the checks also on front top mounts, All ok
Could it be the low profile 225 45 R16. I do sometimes get a clonk from pads when reversing , But I understand this is common problem ?
Suspension wise the ride is quite harsh , Not like my other car 2017FR Leon which is a lot smoother.
I have tugged the coil spring , Does not seem broken or cracked
