Well peeps, for the last week the climate cntroll screen has flashed
every time i've started the car, i've also noticed the air con doesn't get cold any more,
know where near what it used to, i'm thinking the air con system has a leak and it's lost the gas!!
Now does the climate controll screen flash when the system detects a fault??

Has anyone else had this??

Any help would be helpfull!!!!!

maybe a re-gas in needed

you may not have a leak, the gas can just loose it's oomph if left idol over the winter

give the AC a blast to demist windows when it's raining in the winter months to exercise the system

Not sure if flashing detects a fault, but they do naturally lose pressure, I had the wifes tdi 130 checked at service last december reports were fine but in may it stopped getting cold, got it back to stealers, they checked for leaks etc, all fine no faults found. regassed it and its ok, They said it was natural to lose pressure over time:shrug:

I know air con loses pressure over, i'm a qualified air con reapirer and HGV mechanic.
But this hasn't lost pressure over weeks or months but quickly TBH.
I'm quessing the air con pressure sensor is detecting very low pressure so it makes the climate contoll flash to tell you there's a fault??
