sorry guys need some advice.

i used the climate control diagnostics on my leon, my climate control hasnt worked from i got the car but i havent long realised, i have had it re-gassed but the compressor doesnt seem to come on,
these are the readings i got

1c - 0
20c -13.8
22c - 1
28c - 41
29c - 0
31c - 5
49c - 60
61c - 53

any help would be great thanks especially with this beautiful weather.

could be that the compressor clutch has broken it's a fairly common problem on these cars - does the compressor kick in at all when you switch it on?

I was quoted prices from £900 - £1600 to replace the compressor so decided opening the windows would do!!
You could probably diy if you know how but I'm not that brave!

This is by no means concrete, but looking at your diagnostic results it does sort of point towards the compressor.

1c = 0 = No malfunction present.
20c = 13.8 = Compressor voltage. So it's receiving power, but...
29c = 0 = Compressor RPM. ...it's not rotating.

I've got an issue with mine at the mo, but my 1c result = 22.1, so a different issue.

cheers sixarm and tartan58 for your replys and also david at sere for some assistance aswell, i think im going to leave it alone sounds like big money to try and sort, and its only for comfort. thanks again
