It looks like there are two blanking plates at the side that *might* pull out to expose some screws but I'm not sure and don't want to damage them trying.

Anyone with ETKA be able to help?

Don't tempt me :D

She thought she could get a McDonalds drink cup into the cup holder, which she did. Unfortunately it split in the process and leaked everywhere. Took me bloody ages to clean it all away but I need to get the cover off the climate controller to get at the temperature minus button.

Concise, but lacking in some useful detail

Step 1 - find an old credit card and cut two strips a few mm wide ;)

Take these strips and push them firmly into the horizontal slots at the bottom of the radio - pull the radio out

Drop the ashtray and locate the T20 bolt at the back. Unscrew and remove ashtray, unplugging the cig. lighter as you do.

Remove the two T25 bolts behind the ashtray and pull the facia away (clips down either side at CC level and it levers out above the switches

Remove the T25 bolts/clips at the edges of the CC screen and remove

Anyone know if I could get a unit from a brakers yard and fit it???

I suspect they may be more to it than that :( there are temperature sensors in the dash (above the screen) and - I think - in the courtesy light which would have to be connected/fitted/enabled
