Got out of the car yesterday for about 30 mins without locking it, keys still in the ignition. When I got back in and started it the climate control screen was flashing with everything on the screen at the same time. I took the keys out, locked the car and tried again but same problem. I got rid of it by pressing all 5 buttons at the same time. Any ideas???

I had that a few weeks ago, I think it must have been down to a low battery voltage as I had the radio on all afternoon without the engine running, it reset itself after a bit of a drive.

Low battery voltage where you left it with the key in and turned.

Did it start ok after or was it a bit sluggish to start?

No it started first time, the radio was on all the time I was away as my better half was in the car at the time while I was working. It was pouring with rain and blowing a gale maybe the car was just upset:p

My climate control does this nearly everytime i turn my ignition on. Do you use your air con much? If not use it and see if it does it then.

If not, look straight out the windscreen for 30 seconds while turning on the ignition, then look at the climate control after 30 seconds and all will be fine. Works with mine anyway.

I had mine regassed and it didnt solve this problem...

I had this and so checked it with Vag-Com and there was a fault. Had a pressure switch replaced under warranty.
