Clicking noise

Hi,
Got a 02 Ibiza PD100 and when I accelerate sharply there is a clicking noise. The noise also happens when I let my foot off the accelerater. Could this be an engine mount. Everyones telling me different things so I thought I'd ask on here to see if someone has had the same issue?

Hi mate, Not really? Its like a loud click! If i was going along in 1st gear at idle and tapped the accelerator it would click and also if i braked sharp it would click. Sounds like a bushing or something?

i get a psssshhh sound when i change gear.... never thought about it before, just pretend i got a dump valve....
