Hi chaps I have an 05 plate LCR with standard black interior.... I also have a 4 year old daughter ! and the two just dont mix ! So as you can imagine ive picked up a few marks and stains mainly from juice and sweets  so I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good upholstery cleaner/shampoo that will get rid of some minor marks like chocolate etc ?

By far the best way to clean upholstry is to use an extraction cleaner... where the dirty water is slurped up and away from the precious car..

my ickle one regularly munges all sorts into the seat...(it's great when it gets trapped under the car seat!)

For light stains I use the Kirkland surface wipes available from Costco... they are brilliant at all sorts of cleaning jobs

for worse stuff get out the Bissell and apply a solutions of low foaming cleaner... allow for contact time, then remove...

Try Megs Carpet and Interior Cleaner, apart from a steam clean this is the best i have used.

I have always used vanish spray, that stuff that comes in a pink squirty bottle :D works a treat. Spray on rub in, wipe off.

ok guys, dont :rifle: me for this but..

has anyone tried the supraguard fabric protector (NOT the exterior stuff) on their car for keeping the interior looking nice and clean

was just wondering if this was worth doing if little dirty hands are a problem??

anyone know if this stuff is any good, or is it just as useful as the exterior stuff? or is there anything else which is similar and works?
cheers,
g :D
