Cleaning Engine Bay...

As the turbo and Manfold ect is off i can get Down near that rear and i wanna clean the engine bay up alittle and repaint it...

I know about using Gunk as its awesome stuff but what about Cleaning it prober..Should i use a Jet wash But cover up the coilpacks,Maf and filter Or is that a Big No No...

Or can i buy something thats does steam cleaning..

any ideas please..

i just use soapy water and a sponge and hose it off just avoid the sensors and coil packs etc..then metal polish the shiny bits

I have put the jet wash on it before. As said, avoid battery, coils, maf and ECU and you're fine.

Especially where inlet meets block is always dirty. IMO you're fine just as long as its not a very high powered beam of water.
