Been wanting to change the front seats in my cupra for some time as there worn and the last owners have put a few cig burns in etc etc

I dont find the standard seats at all supportive or comfy and have been looking at alternatives, one of them being Civic Type-R seats

Does anyone know if these will fit in a cupra? I know i'll have to mod the runners etc just wondering if they'll be slim enough?

Any help would be great and if anyone knows of any interiors that might fit like TT or Polo GTI etc :)

Shouldn't think you'll run into problems with the width, but modding the runners is no easy job :(

I'm sure I've read somewhere that Golf seats fit ... in which case, the choices are endless as Recaro make subframes for any of their aftermarket range to slot into the Mk4 Golf/TT platform (I'll check the part no.s on mine)

...once you've got a flat base, extending it in/outwards for other brands of seats becomes much easier

I'd try and avoid seats from specific cars - I bought some very expensive Celica seats to slot into my last car and you just couldn't find any sort of base to work with without the seats sitting so high the back touched the rooflining.
