Chrome mirror covers on an FR, opinions?

I've been thinking of getting these for my FR but today some careless shopping trolley weilding b*****d at the local Sainsbury's may have brought the decision forward for me
My offside door mirror now had a nasty scrape right through the paint, back to plastic, no where near as bad as Yello's recent incident but infuriating none-the-less.

Anyway what do you think of the chrome mirror covers? Do you think they would go well with Zenith? And how easy is to remove the existing silver painted ones??

Hi Greytop, went to buy some the other day and was slightly disappointed that they are only plastic. But think in your circumstances they would be idea and look good with the grey. Pretty sure they just clip over the top of the existing cover.

They go well with Lunar!

They are plastic, but unless you actually in the know, you'd never know.

The chrome covers look so much better than the standard FR covers. (They look like Seat couldn't be bothered to finish painting them!) I went for the Chrome covers as it was cheaper than having the originals colour matched to the body by the dealer and against the yellow they look great!

I must admit I'm not sure how well they might go with Zenith I'll think on this one a bit more before I decide.

Just checked with the local Seat dealer and apparently if you want to go with the original silver covers they have to be painted
In otherwords they come in primer and the dealer has to get it sprayed for you. Will end up costing more than the chrome I think........

Personally I think the "matt" silver original ones suit the car better, I think it looks to bling with the chrome (especially on a red car which I have on order). Although it could work on a darker colour like Zenith post the pics if you get it done I'd be interested in seeing what they look like.
