Chipped Engine

The LCR im buying is chipped but i want the car completely original, apparently its just a matter of plugging in a laptop and switching it off (same guy that chipped it is doing this), is this the case and if so will the ecu mapping be affected? Is it possible to get some documentation stating that everything is back in normal running order??????????

It should be that simple, yes. Do you know who's done/doing it? Is it a big firm or backstreet bob?

Any reason for wanting it back to standard?

Power is only there if you want it.

you need to know what chip it has, then i would go back to the supplier and ask for it to be removed.

Not quite as easy as plugging in a laptop! Well unless its done by a supplier that is. You need to find out what remap its had, who did it originally and whos setting it back. As said why do you want it std? You get more power and better mpg with a remap.

Revo can be switched off by any of there dealers, I would also recommend unplugging the battery red terminal for 10 mins to clear the ECU (the ECU will adapt to Revo settings) this will reset those values...also remember you will need your PIN for your stereo after unplugging the battery

What did you mean 1 of 4 in the Country
