DEWSBURY - W.YORKS
Have narrowed my search for a new car down to 2 choices, 1 of them been a MK3 Cupra. I realise that this is a big ask, and therefore fully understand if no-one is willing to do it.
I live in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, and was wondering if anyone not too far from me has either a std car or a stage 1 tuned Cupra, that you would be willing to show me around, as to date I have only had a short test-drive in 1, but was hooked!!Plan on stage 1 mods as well, so if this was the case, even better. Don't really want to waste anyones time that is selling a car, and if possible want to talk to someone that will give me some straight-talking answers.
Realise that people will be very wary, so can bring whatever ID with me any of you guys want:)

Cheers peeps, Kev......

Why dont you just look on autotrader for one for sale as trade and go and have a look at it and test drive it? Probably the easiest thing to do. I dont mean to be rude, but I wouldnt really want someone coming round my house just to look at my motor, unless they wanted to buy it and I was selling mine.

I agree.

There's nothing worse than seeing your own car driven by someone else...whether it be sensible-respectful driving or someone thraping it.
There's always going to be that risk...followed by lots of hassle.

Like said above...you should arrange a viewing of a car off AutoTrader/Piston Heads, then your not wasting no ones time.

Best of luck in finding one though...i didn't even bother driving my Cupra to find out if i liked it or not...i knew exactly what i wanted the car to look like so i was sure i could make myself like the drive of the car - if that makes sense.

Altho im sure he's completely innocent, its a bit fishy to be honest... No offence like.

I knew i wanted one when I read all the reviews on the car and also when I found out how easily tunable they are. Plus I love the way they look, and they have air-con etc etc. Proper piece of kit for a sensible amount of cash.

Deffo a meet thing mate....

Some people ask me at meets what is my car like, they have never been in one blah blah... and so I sometimes offer to take people out.

However going out to meet someone I don't know to purely give them a ride,...not really gonna happen.

Fair play for asking and I understand why, but I doubt you'll get an offer.

As said, best thing to do is get yourself along to a local meet....
