Holy ****, that is mental. That marshal was extreamly lucky. Did you see the state of the cars though after the impacts they just ripped open like tin cans.
Yeah did look like the british GT championship.
Not sure when it was, I was at the British GT this year at Oulton and nothing like that happened. The shells are mainly fibre class iwould of thought wrapped around a sillouette type chassis/rollcage, still not cheap to replace.
British GT 2002. I know the bloke (well used to know him back then before he took time off to go to uni) who was in the Rollcentre/Texaco Tuscan. Somehow they managed to rebuild it for the next race two weeks later. A mate texted me to say he'd had a bad crash, but was alright. Didn't think it was quite that bad.
