Context: 2021 formentor with 1969 firmware installed, I don't use the Cupra app as its useless and use car play based apps for nav and music.

The firmware as it is is fine for me and I'd rather not let it auto update TBH.

I get it serviced by Cupra once a year so any updates can be discussed and approved by me then

I own the car outright and have no Cupra warranty on it.

I have the car privacy set on one below full spy mode and I'll still get the "Changing your settings" message pop up, cancelling it makes it go away for a bit but it seems to re appear again until you say yes.

As I don't use any of the connected services is there a way of "disconnecting" the car from the web to stop these random changes ?

I just say yes when it keeps popping up frequently to a stage you feel annoyed.
Only thing it changes is the drive to default mode if I remember correctly.
Rest all stays the same mostly.

Good stuff. I usually put car in individual drive mode.
But saying yes it changes to comfort mode.
That's the only change I noticed.
Maybe you don't use individual drive mode so probably nothing would change then.
I am not sure about radio as I don't use.
Audio settings, ambient light settings they all remain the same for me.
I thought saying yes would mess up all but it doesn't.
