Right then guys ive saved enough money now to start 'pimping' the leon.

going to buy some springs. not too sure which to go for. either the eibach sportlines or eibach pro-kit. wanting a comfortable ride, but with improved handling. the pro kit looks to be the better choice. The sportlines look like they will be abit too low and abit too hard on the ride.

how hard are the spings to change myself?

did them on my old fabia and it was easy enough on the rears, but the fronts had to be done by skoda. has anyone done the fronts on the leon?

thanks in advance

do you have any problems with speed bumps with the sportlines?

Not really, most of the ones round my area i go slow so not a problem, you would need a really big square shaped one to cause any damage, from the bottom of the bumper to the floor is the size of a cigarette packet standing up ;)

The ride is soft and comfortable, really not that different except your abit lower lol, but i noticed on long journeys i used to get back pains but now its alot better .. the handling is amazing compared to standard now :funk:

Do a search thru the forum and my dealer section as this has been discussed in depth.
If I can throw in my own tuppenceworth, FR suspension is crap, end of.
I put in the lowest Eibach springs and it looks ace (imo) and halps the crashiness a bit but it isnt the answer on its own. If you want a real improvement, Koni FSD's with or without Eibach springs seem to be the ones to go for.
Dont spend money without taking time to search for posts and opinions!!!!!!!

Thought you were selling up?
or you changed your mind?

i would read this months performance car magazine before selling your Cupra mate , Focus RS? nope Leon Cupra with stage 2 + kills it dead and the impreza sti and megane r26 , only place the leon suffers is round the track , but that can be changed for a few ££££££'s

sorry to hi jack your thread.
