ok ive a new set of clocks in the car now but the mileage is wrong. it should be 70k and its only 45k. you cant change it with vagcom. is there anyother way? dealers?

if i leave it alone, what happens at the next mot?
i keep hearing that mileage can never be guarenteed so legaly im doing nothing wrong right?

Legally: its not illegal to change the mileage.
However it is illegal if you were to make out that the mileage is correct when you know it isnt.

Also, as for the MOT, what will happen. Nothing. Well not at the MOT at least.
However it will be highlighted if a mileage check is done.
Most people in the trade get this done and i think you can ask for mileage info when doing HPI now...

you can get the mileage changed by getting any of the digital mileage correction companies to change it. Do a search.
