Complete PITA to do.

Method 1 - take the headlights out !!

Method 2 - get someone with thin hands to reach in to the back of the side light and pull the bulb holder out to change the bulbs.

warning !!!! - DO NOT pull on the wires - they are quite easy to snap.

The sidelights are replaced through a seperate cover to the side of the main cover, on the wing side of the headlight.
It`s the triangular cover on the right side of my pic (driver`s side headlight):
Move the metal clip out of the way and the cover hinges on the two plastic lugs, then comes out completely. Two wires go into the sidelight but as said don`t pull on them... grip the sidelight with your finger and thumb and pull hard with a bit of a wiggle :cheeky:

When FITTING, I found it best to switch the sidelights on to help you locate them properly.

you can hold the wires and wiggle with ever so slight pull...again try not to pull too hard as the wires can come off, but if they've never been pulled before then you shouldn't have a problem

mine came out pretty easily with a light pull and wiggle :D

I gave up, then decided to have another go. I just got a big light so I could really see what I was pulling, and then just wiggled the wires carfully. Then pulled, and they came out fine.

My hands did hurt after mind :D

i did take pics when i initially installed em, but they were poo and didn't show much difference between old and new...

i will try get pics up tonight of how they look now, but yer, the one's with blue tint give off a better white light than those standard looking extreme, although they are pretty white as well

don't get me wrong, mine don't compare to real Xenon headlights with proper blue tint, the Philips is slight and the blue tint helps give off whiter light

i've been pleased enough to have them put in my mum's A-Class and VAZY's Leon FR+ :)

I put LED bulbs in to mine - it kept blowing standard bulbs - the LED's have been in two years now and never failed.

have a look for 501 or w5w led bulbs.
