riiight this will be a tricky one to type out:

i've got a BMC CDA on my 2.0l 16v, and when the cold air feed was placed where the foglight was it made an awesome sound, like a drilled airbox but louder. Now i've put a direct air feed (no where for the cold air to go but into the airbox) it doesnt make the same sounds, it's quieter. Before it sounded like it was sucking the air, now i cant here it.

any help?

cheers
chris

if its direct then when moving the air is naturally flowing into it and through it.. if its not so direct then it needs to suck alot more for the same airflow...

wot a complete guess :D
