central locking

my central locking doesnt work, so i need to reprogramme the key, and to do this i need another key (i think)

can i reprogramme my current key if i got aother one cut? or is a dealer job?

The re-programming only requires another standard key. Instructions are in your user manual :)

If you don't have a spare key then you'll also need a virgin transponder (about £6) to program the immobiliser. This can be done by someone with VAG-Com providing you have your cars 4/7 SKC code. If not then you'll probably need to get it done at the dealers. A new 2nd flip key can be sorted for about £30ish from ebay. You'll just have to get the blade cut and transponder programmed.
