Central Locking Problems

Hi All

I am having trouble with my central locking and not a clue what is going on with it! So just wondering really if anyone ells has had the same thing or knows how to solve the problem?

The trouble im having is the driver’s door will not unlock all the other doors and the boot opens but not the driver’s door so I have to use the key in the lock! Also the strange thing is it locks fine…??

Most likely an air leak in the pneumatic central locking system. My rear drivers side does the same at the moment. Beware though, mine has the habit of sometimes not unlocking, but worse, sometimes not locking at all.

Mine does the same, rear passenger side door, came back to it to find it unlocked! lucky this time but slightly paranoid now...

Sounds like your door lock module is faulty. if you tap the door around the hande will it work sometimes? on mine i noticed a noise upon locking the car to start with then i noticed the door would not lock when the rest were locked or stay locked when the rest were unlocked. Its a DIY job but is tricky and you need the door to be open first. Unit is £92 and same again for fitting unless as said you DIY.
