Central locking problem

OK let me start, I've lost what seems to be a cover on my rear wiper and water from the washer is playing about with the boot lock sensor (light flashing, fading on full etc on dash)

Now the only lock that works with the remote key is the boot and none of the doors, but the alarm is activated

I can't unlock any of the 3 passenger door and have to unlock driver door by manually key insertion

any ideas or is it a dealer jobbie

Hi Jonesy any joy with your boot lock. Mine has just done the same thing. screen wash in the boot and the alarm keeps going off. The dealer has had a look and supposedly fixed it but alarm going off last night again. Dont feel the car is secure as not locking properly.

boot locks PITA once again - i would get down to dealers and keep trying to get it sorted, especially while it is under warranty.
I have been to my dealers about 6-8times over the last yr for problems with my boot lock. I wont rest until its sorted. I now double lock my boot all the time so i guarantee that its locked properly.

Well, boot lock traced to leaky wiper motor but that wasn't the end of it

They traced the fault in the central locking to a hairline crack in the fuse

At least now the whole family doesn't have to climb in and of the drivers door

the problem with your locking ??? i have a leon 20vt and mine is playing up when you start the engine it locks !! and then when u come to lock and open it with remote it plays up !!! did u have the some problem with yours ?????

any help would be greatful shane
