Central locking problem

I know there are lots of other threads with similar problems on here but I just cant quite find out what is wrong with mine exactly.

Last night my remote central locking randomly stopped working, the key still unlocks the car manually and starts the car ok. I have replaced the keys battery just to be sure, and it is fine. When I unlock or lock manually only the driver door is locks/unlocks. When I lock the car using the button by the electric window buttons, all of the doors lock but the rear passenger door will then unlock itself again. I can push down the wee button on that door manually and it will stay down.

Is this maybe a dodgy motor or lock?

was it an expensive part?

I have a similar problem, my remote locking seems to work randomly, then for ages it wont...
