Central locking - Please help!!

Hi,

Firstly just to say I love this forum has been a great help ! lol... anyway i've got abit of a problem, my ibiza central locking system is gone weird. I can lock the car fine, however when i try unlock the car only the driver door seems to unlock. The other doors all stay locked, which mean I have to maually unlock them.

I have the same problem with the locking buttons inside the car. Now my petrol flaps locked and I can't seem to find a manual way of opening that pleaseee heeelppp meee

Turn the key twice when trying to open the door.

thanks for the reply mate, have tried that wouldnt work, so ive just manages to open the flap usin a screwdriver :S , but I thnk my whole central locking system is messed up, everything locks fine just dosent open which is really weird

Sorry to butt in on this thread but I have a Seat Ibiza 1.4S (V Reg) Im having major problems with my central locking and locking in general!!! Firstly the lock on drivers side bust and is now unusable manually, then central locking stopped working. Upon changing battery it would nt programme so have since been using passenger side lock to manually lock the the car up! Which is a nightmare! Now it seems that lock is stiff and on occasions will not lock the other doors! Any advise on how to rectify would be massively appreciated! )Want to try and resolve before both locks end up bust and I have no way of getting in or locking it up! A friend has suggested it could be a fuse?!??! I have no idea!

i think i'm starting to have exactly the same problems as you kellie. . think im gona take it to garage soon to get it checked out
